Do you wake your baby up for feeds?

My LO has been asleep since half four and I am wondering if I should get him up now to feed. I am worried he will be up all night if I don't but I am not sure waking him up is a good idea either.

dal21, maybe I am lucky! Think I have another baby it would be child from hell at bed times!
Ds was born at 9lb 12 which helped I think as he would take 9oz bottles at 6 weeks old.

What is a dreamfeed!?

dal21 · 07/11/2007 08:31

mumfor1st - so is your name misleading? are you thinking no. 2?

mamma - dreamfeed is a feed around 10-11 (no later than 11) where a feed is given to tide lo's over into the morning. as they get older and can take more at 7pm feed, you can drop this feed. but only after they drop the 1/2am feed. my dh gives the dreamfeed of ebm via bottle and 9 times out of 10, ds is zonked, guzzles his feed and goes back down.

dal21, No not really thinking number 2 just at the moment, just imagine baby no.2 would be nightmare sleeper!
