Am I still producing milk for my 19 month old?

My 19 month old DD has been on one boob feed for months now, after bath/before bed. She doesn't 'feed' for long and recently I've struggled to hear any swallowing sounds. Is this now a comfort thing rather than her getting any milk? I assumed she would let me know when the milk stopped (she is a great talker and able to express things like this!) but her behaviour hasn't changed during boob time.

Over the past few months I haven't had a period (they came back when she was 1 for a few months), I've been so down, plus some other physical things that I'm wondering if combined they signify the end of breastfeeding/hormonal changes? (Def not pregnant!)

I always wanted to let her wean off the boob whenever she was ready but tbh she's been taking so little milk for so long, I wonder if we're already at that stage and 'boob' is solely a comfort thing (not grumbling about that, just genuinely wondering if there's any way I can know for sure if my milk has dried up!)
Thanks x

Milk doesn't completely dry up while suckling is still happening. There will be some milk coming out. Probably not much as presumably she's not actually hungry. It won't stop until either she or you takes an active decision to stop. Some toddlers do just decide that they don't want boob any more. Some will continue and it can go on for years unless the mum decides to stop.

Try hand expressing a little while before she normally feeds. You'll see if you have milk
