Help!
My 20 week old (BF) has gone in the space of a week from eating fairly normally if fussily to never finishing a feed during the day and going three hours between half feeds. She’s then eating nearly hourly from 4pm onwards and up all hours at night. If I try and offer food more regularly she loudly refuses.
As far as i can see she’s putting on weight but she’s 5th centile so going cold turkey at night is not really an option. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on when this might be over?!
Thanks

Following as I'm in a similar position! No advice but hope someone else has some.

No real advice but there's a massive growth spurt/sleep regression/leap or awful combination of all 3 at 4 months. I think it's meant to pass quite quickly however I feel like my daughter didn't sleep any better until about 11 months Sad I just gritted my teeth and got on with it, and napped as much as possible during the day.

Agree that it could very well be a developmental leap and could soon settle down again but honestly, I'd try to treat it as a Nursing Strike and see if you can get her to take more feeds in the day, easier said than done I know .

There's also a link between daylight and sleep so I know the weather isn't great but if you can get her outside at least once a day it should help too Thanks

Thanks for the help!

Update - she’s still fussy unless calm and just about tired enough, but we seem to be pulling back to more normal levels of day feed again. Thinking about it she’s in between 3/4 naps a day at the moment so she doesn’t have so much of a routine earlier in the day, depends how she sleeps, so I’m wondering if this is what’s throwing her off...
