Store kendamil in fridge?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has used kendamil and stored bottles in the fridge? I've been doing this with our previous formula but unsure if kendamil is different because it's full cream milk?

I know it isn't what's recommended now but baby is thriving and id just like to know

Thanks! Smile

We use it but never make bottles in advance to store in the fridge. I’m not sure it would be riskier with kendamil just because it’s full-cream, but bacteria love milk and I just don’t want to risk it, so we do it according to instructions. When baby was up in the night we used a thermos flask and a jug of water to cool the feed, it worked fine.

I know people do make up feeds in advance and it’s fine, I just personally can’t deal with the stress of worrying about potentially giving baby a tummy upset. Kendamil is a great formula though, would never change.

Thank you for your reply.

I swapped him over yesterday and today he's had quite a loose greener looking dirty nappy. Has your little one ever had that with kendamil? He's happy in himself and seems more content on it so far otherwise 🤞🏼

Hi yes as soon as we started it (about 2 weeks old) his poo went green and runny, now it’s settled out into green and double cream like in consistency (I know, gross). He had no wind, colic or constipation on it and poos every 2-3 days. Stick with it and see how little one is!

The website says don't store in the fridge! It does say the feed is good for 2 hours once prepared.
