Any tips for improving quantity of 9-month old breastfeeds?

My lo has been diagnosed as having a cows milk allergy and is breastfed with bottles of ebm for her 2 days at nursery.

I went to see the dietician this am who asked how many breasfeeds she has and was concerned it isn't enough for her and she may need calcium supplements.

I feed her 1st thing in the morning, mid-morning, mid-afternoon and at bedtime. The daytime feeds she's really not fussed about and I have to sit down to "make" her feed. She gets easily distracted, though and pulls off a lot. When at nursery she'll ony have 1-2 oz in a bottle and I struggle to express more than 2-30z at a time.

So the question is how can I increase her intake? Any tips? And am I doing anything obviously wrong? Or do I need to see a counsellor?

what else does she eat?
One can get calcium from leafy green veg as well as dairy products.

She has a good diet generally, and I try to make sure it's fairly balanced ie fruit, veg, meat, pasta/bread/potatoes, fish

so why is the dietician so worried?

I know it's not what you asked but could she have soya milk on fortified cereal at breakfast? Doesn't sound like she really wants more milk as a drink in the day so could be tricky to "force" her.

likely that when she feeds from you she is getting more than the 2-3 oz you can expresss. with 2 big feeds + 2 mini ones she is probably getting at least the 12-16oz they recommend for this age group.
