Leap 6 extremely fussy feeding?!

Hi all!

I'm a FTM to a beautiful baby boy who is 7.5 mo. Just began leap 6 two days ago and since the beginning his feeding (bfed- always distracted and difficult to feed) has gotten almost impossible unless v sleepy/asleep or with a straw cup.

Is this related to the leap 6?

Has anyone else had this type of fussiness with feeding coincide with leaps/leap 6?

Thanks! Xx

I've no idea what leap 6 is?

I'd assume he's teething.

Don't know what a leap is.

I would say teething? Try those powders (Ashtons) and maybe Calpol if grumpy.

Feeding in the bedroom where it is boring and dull could help a distractable feeder.

Thanks all!

I have noticed another tooth is about to pop through- they just keep coming!

In regards to a leap- if you look up "wonder weeks" it will explain! All about babies mental development- which I've heard gains exponentially during mental "leaps" and can make babies fussier in all kinds of ways. Not sure if it's relevant or true but as soon as the leap was beginning this fussy behaviour has too! Will see if it stops as the tooth comes through.

Hope he settles once that tooth has come through.

We had a spell of fussiness, I think earlier than that. I had to feed him in a dark room alone, no noises or cats lol. He stopped faffing about soon enough.
