When does the milk dry up?

Hello All :)
1st post here, so thank you in advance for reading/ replying.
I have a daughter who is 2years and 9months.
I breastfed her until she was 9 months. I fell pregnant and DD sort of gradually stopped wanting my milk, she had fully stopped having any by the time she was 11 months.
I sadly miscarried at 14 weeks and now have a mirena coil as we are very happy just the 3 of us and have decided against any more for the time being.
I’m still producing milk though, is this normal?!
Not masses, but I still get that let down feeling often and leak a few drops of milk, especially in the shower.
I mentioned it to a friend who thinks it’s really weird and asked if I’d seen a doctor about it. Should I or is this normal? Don’t really want to take a GP consult if it’s nothing, but my friend’s reaction has made me worry.
Thank you.

Its not unheardof for a grandmother to be able to express a few drops.

Ive had a friend develop mastitis 5 years after her last feed. Most of the breastfeeding counsellors I know experience the occasional let down feeling when supporting new mums over the phone amd some of them havent breastfeed for 20-30 years.
That being said if you feel worried you can get your prolactin level check with a blood test to see if it raised and then go from there.

Thank you :)
That is reassuring. I’m not too worried really, just friend’s reaction made me wonder if I should be.
I’ll not get any tests, I don’t feel unwell in any way.
Thank you for the information :)
