Formula intake?

My DS is 24 weeks old and I started him slowly on solids at 4 months old as he's was showing signs he was more then ready. The last couple of days he's been seeming more interested in food then his formula. He used to have 34-36oz a day but it's now around 20-25oz a day. Should I be worried or is this normal as he's now on 2 meals a day. (Porridge and fruit purée made with his formula on a morning- so he's still getting the nutrients and goodness from the formula. And veggies on an evening)

This is what was working for us but as of recently he's taking less milk. He is also teething. Has currently just finished screaming the house down and has finally settled to sleep 😢😫

Im a first time mammy and have no one to really speak to about this... so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I hope this made sense. Thank you 🙏🏻

I actually asked this to my HV. She said as long as they are having a minimum of 600ml a day (about 20-21oz) plus two to three meals at 6 months (so basically your DC age) it’s fine. Sounds good what your doing :). I let my DS lead. As long as he has 600ml I don’t mind. Some days he wants a lot more some days will have the minimum. X

As soon as DS was established on solids and got the hang of eating, his formula intake dropped drastically. He is 10 months and I struggle to get 15oz in him some days! But he eats like a horse for breakfast and lunch (not so much dinner but think it’s coz he is tired and getting ready for bed!) x
