How soon does your milk change when you get pregnant?

Our DD is 1 and we are ttc#2
I stopped the morning feed about 2 weeks ago after AF appeared on CD40 (I expected it nearer CD30, so was gutted when it turned up 10 days late), figuring it may help my chances this month.
We are now on CD13 and for 3 nights in a row DD has thrown herself back off the left boob(it never was her favourite) and then only suked on the right but not taken any milk.
Really don't want to give up yet, feel so but I think DD has made her decision?

I heard somewhere, that your milk changes almost immediately that you concieve and that baby will know before you do because of this.
Is there any truth in this?

Or do you think it is just a phase and DD will get back to it in a few days?
She is not ill but had her jab (not MMR) just over a week ago.

Help

Oh my god!!
I am dancing aabout the room with excitment.
I have been trawling through the net to try to back up my logic but was coming up with nothing.
I had just about decided that it couldn't possibly be cos I am pregnant, but now I am so happy cos the hope is still there!!

I still may not be, I know that, but I could be!!

On the other side
Do you think I should stop trying to give her a feed at night or keep going for a few days more?
She is not getting upset about it, just flaffing around then taking the dummy and going to sleep easy enough.

Yeah, I wonder that I would have been too early in my cycle for concieving, but I can always hope

Just tried again tonight, she turned away from the left again and took a little from the right. But it was aching, as she was attempting the left. It always leaks in sympathy
I tried lying down with her to see if she just doesn't want to take from the left because of the way I lie her, but still the left was rejected.
So she is not strictly rejecting the lot, just the left. But then, I think she takes from the right just cos it is easy.

oh, so confusing.
I think I will give it a week and then stop. I always planned to stop at 12 months anyway. Now that it is here I don't want to though
Silly really.

I think thst is what I imagined too 15-16 months.
Then again DH thought I would stop at 6months, I didn't. He thought I would be ok with stopping now but I am not. When would I have made the decision??

I think, if I discover I am not pregnant, I will really feel I stopped too soon.
Oh, but if it is her decision, I can't keep her going just cos I want to.
V confused.
Will leave it the week and then do a test. That way I will be really sure she has defo lost interest and whether or not it was because of pregancy changes.

She took quite well from me tonight

I had given her a cup of milk, (because I hadn't hidden it from her well enough and she asked for it) and thought I would just have to accept that this was the end.
But my boobs really ached, watching her drinking the cows milk
So I thought I would offer her the boob and see what she chose.
I said 'ta' for the cup and she took from the boob
Both sides.

I wonder that it was cos they were aching so the milk was easier to come through for her?

We did have a bath together tonight too, I offered the boob then too, but, of course, she was too busy playing so thought that a silly idea But maybe it help a little?
No matter, just pleased she is back on. Although I will have to see what tommorrow brings.
And next week when I test

DS1 fed quite happily until I decided it was time to stop when I was 22w pg. Not sure if there was any change at all, or if DS1 was such an avid feeder, that he wouldn't have stopped anyway . Hope the bfing continues to go well, and that you get your BFP

Nope, today was like the first few days.
Throwing herself off left boob, this time she ended up crying heartily about it all, before trying the right. She enjoyed a nice cuddle and a suke but, I am pretty sure, no milk.
No real swallowing going on.

Anyone out there with 'I know that feeling' stories??
