FrannyandZooey · 08/03/2008 16:49

Elle McPherson nursing bra

and cake

Pannacotta · 08/03/2008 16:57

Underwired Anita bras and lansinoh disposable breast pads - both pricey but well worth it.

trixymalixy · 08/03/2008 16:58

Another vote for the "my breast friend" pillow, also bought cheap from ebay.

It was fantastic for sitting up feeding in bed, I used to get a really sore back before I bought this pillow.

Also an anita underwired nursing bra made me feel so much better about the way I looked post baby.

amidaiwish · 08/03/2008 17:05

vest tops that unclipped at the top so i didn't have to show all and sundry my white, flabby tummy!

blueshoes · 08/03/2008 17:16

bf-ing bra.

bf-ing tops are truly ugly and a big con. A loose jumper is fine and so much more stylish.

emma1977 · 08/03/2008 18:17

Without Lansinoh I wouldn't have made it past week 2.

Lots of DVDs, Kit Kats and Vimto cordial.

andiem · 08/03/2008 18:19

chocolate

MrsRecycle · 08/03/2008 18:23

broadband so that I could access the bf section of mumsnet talk

ally90 · 08/03/2008 18:35

Kittenbaby - saw the title and thought of my gliding chair too...mine has my bum imprinted on it now definately worth the money! Could do with another seat cushion to it tho

And my v cushion from argos...

And a jasper conran dressing gown, absolute godsend on those cold early wake up calls...all fluffy and bulky and snuggly warm...bliss, almost worth getting up in the middle of the night to wear it...

broguemum · 08/03/2008 19:30

lasinoh

washable breast pads

a night time bf bra

belly bands / bf T shirt top so I did not have to inflict my wobbly belly on anyone

halogen · 09/03/2008 21:44

Lansinoh!

And cake/biscuits/crisps/vast lardy milkshakes/cheese/other enormously calorific food.

I also second the Bravado recommendation. They're excellent bras.

pukkapatch · 09/03/2008 21:45

properfly fitting nursing bras
good chair to surf the internet on
books from the library.
cordless phone

and in the early days, nipple shields and lansinoh

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 09/03/2008 22:02

Thermal mug
BT vision freeview recorder (seriously)

MrsMar · 09/03/2008 22:08

Kittenbaby, a vote from me for the glider nursing chair! Love mine so much I often end up still in it reading long after ds has gone to sleep!

broguemum · 10/03/2008 08:17

quick hijack

I've seen are many recommendations on this thread for bravado bras but I bought one two weeks ago and can't master opening the shoulder clips. Is there a secret? If so please let this know-less-one in it. Thanks.

hijack over.

McDreamy · 10/03/2008 08:25

Caz10 · 10/03/2008 10:37

Caz10 · 10/03/2008 10:38

oh and to answer the question...so far it's been lansinoh and the movies package on sky!

SoupDragon · 10/03/2008 10:42

A pair of breasts. Although technically they came free with my body.

morocco · 10/03/2008 11:20

soupie

cake and chocolate

TheBlonde · 10/03/2008 11:22

"My Breast Friend" pillow
Also got a Carriwell bf top which is very nice, looks good and easy to use without getting a cold tum

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 10/03/2008 11:31

Caz - I think my glider chair is a Cosatto one. I think I got it from Kiddicare. I tried the expensive ones and they really weren't much different from the Cosatto one.

AussieSim · 10/03/2008 11:38

Medela Breast Shells - for the early days while the nipples need to harden up and are best left out in the air.

poppynic · 10/03/2008 11:43

In the absence of a glider chair (about which I dream), definitely my cotton waterproof sheet that I lie and leak on every night, oh and sometimes baby wees on). It has saved my mattress and interminable changes of fitted sheets etc. In fact, I think it would even beat the glider chair - if only I could compare .
