EBF baby straight to cup?

Hi new here! My daughter is 8 months old and never took a bottle ( we tried 14 and as many teats, me leaving house, MIL, dad, friend etc etc) with lockdown I gave up and focussed on other emergencies in the family. Now I want to get her ready for nursery whenever they open for babies which they are currently not. I am confused by the practicalities. Should I jump straight to a cup? If so which type and start to replace one feed a day? I am lost and now back working full time from home and struggling to find the time to test things. Help most gratefully received.

We went straight to a Tommee Tippee sippy cup, the small type with a spout and lid about £1 in asda and when they get bigger they can use it without the lid.

That's what we did, we went straight to a 360 cup and took a while but then my son picked it up well.

My baby never had a bottle and went straight from breastfeeding to cup - it can be done! Smile

Yes we did that too! Couldn’t get along with a doidy cup which I’d seen recommended on here but he got the hang of a free flow sippy cup no bother.

We used the tommy tippee cup as well. Never used a bottle either

Thanks! Did you just start to replace one feed a day with cup? Then ramp up?

Yes, we did. Someone else above recommended the doidy cup - that was great.
My DS took expressed milk from a tiny cup from a few days old as he was tiny so couldn't suck much and needed topping up... I was amazed when the nurse suggested it, but it was fine!
