Dd is 14m & has 8oz on waking 7 at bedtime plus 4oz after her nap. usually guzzles it all but does not eat much, even if we have had to miss the 3pm bottle.
TIA

my ds has 2 milk feeds at 11 months but he has them both from a lidded beaker. Why not try giving the day feed from a cup and then look to change the other bottle feeds too? My dd (almost 4) had only 2 feeds by 10 months.

From 1 year they need a minimum of 350mls (approx 12oz) so you would be fine to cut out some of the milk - swapping to a cup can help cut the milk intake in itself.

my ds is 10mo and has 3 milk feeds a day and normally takes about 6 oz a feed. trying to get him on to a beaker not working as of yet but will keep trying!

as for not eating much my dd was never a big eater, whereas ds eats till the foods gone! remember all kids are different and they dont starve themselves!

my 2 just turned a year and they are still on 3 milk feeds a day,(unless we are out then they miss afternoon one)approx 7/8oz each time. Have also tried unsucessfully to change onto a cup. dd usually eats far less than ds but are both doing fine. Don't worry too much about dd's food intake... she will soon let you know if she's still hungry!

DD is 12 months and does not have 'milk feeds' any more. She has a drink of milk from a cup at bedtime and the rest she gets from milk on her weetabix and yoghurts, cheese etc.

From what I remember she went from 3 bottles to 2 at 10 months.

milk feeds was wrong description for me.. is a drink of milk but they will only take from a bottle. my problem is that dd relies on a bottle to go to sleep and if ds sees that she has one he creates as well! any tips?!
