Has anyone used glass bottles?

I used NUK bottles for DC1 and plan to buy some new ones for DC2 and noticed some of their cutest designs are glass bottles. Yes, it's a daft reason to be considering glass but they are quite cute!

I wondered if anyone had used glass bottles and what the pros and cons are to glass (with the exception of not being plastic as I don't have any qualms using plastic bottles). Are they sturdy enough to withstand getting dropped? Heavier? Easier to clean?

Any pointers welcome :)

Yes, I used the NUK ones to feed expressed milk. I chose them because most plastics (even BPA-free) leach endocrine disrupting chemicals, especially when heated (in a steam steriliser). I also found they washed really clean and I used the same set for my second, unlike the various plastic weaning pots and bits that had been stored in the loft and deteriorated (getting a sort of greasy feel). The NUK bottles are very strong, but I think you can get a sleeve as well if you are worried about breakage. My kids liked the brown natural rubber teats with the NUK bottles.

I went for glass for the reasons stated by pp. I bought Dr Brown's ones from USA via Amazon. Never dropped them tbh. Clean very well.

Thanks both! They sound like a good option and especially the protective sleeves! :)
