Ok not sure if my message is on the right thread but my baby is 10 months old he is my 3 rd baby - He is EBF this is the longest I’ve done bf for - my prob atm is he wake multiple times a night for milk, every time I am waking my husband who is now sleeping on the sofa but is not coping with the lack of sleep as it’s been a few months now . He feels trapped and can’t see a way forward. I wondered wether to try my baby on a bottle to see if it helps .what do you think 💭

May help, often doesn't. Have you tried co-sleeping? Then you can just latch baby on when he wakes without waking your DH.

My 10mo is the same. His brother was very similar so I've just accepted it to be honest. Co sleeping is the only way I get any sleep, he goes down in his cot and then I take him in with me when I go to bed. My DH sleeps in the spare room!

Could you try taking the side off a cot bed and attaching it to your bed to make a co sleeper? Or could you set your husband up a proper bed somewhere? Maybe buy a cheap single mattress from Ikea and set it up on the floor if you don't have a spare room?

You could try night weaning. I gave it a go with DS1 but he was having none of it. I can't be bothered to attempt it with DS2 and I can see it just ending up with everyone being awake!

Fingers crossed for both of us that they start doing some longer stretches soon!

Yes usually ends up us all waking ! The house that doesn’t sleep! Ha erhhh we have such a small bedroom that we can’t really fit anything next to our bed . I have tried co sleeping which has helped slightly but I have a few issues that I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it al the time. Thanks for the honesty ladies

8-10 mo sleep regression

He isn't waking for milk. He's waking as his brain is busy with development and milk helps him go back to sleep which is perfectly normal - it contains hormones that aid sleep at night
