Toddler milk?

Does anyone use toddler milk? Do you know if it tastes the same as infant formula? I wanted to start switching my LO from formula to cows milk but it turns out she HATES the taste of cows milk. I’ve tried giving it cold, warm, in her usual bottle, in beaker - but nope, she refuses and turns her head away!

Didn't really want the faff of continuing to make and heat formula but not sure what else to do.

Have you tried mixing formula with cows milk, starting with a low proportion of cows milk to formula and very gradually upping the ratio to help get her used to the taste?

How old is your LO? After the age of 1 the amount of dairy needed in the diet is minimal and can be given in other ways such as cheese / yoghurt / milk on cereal.

I would persevere with cow's milk, in my experience, the toddler milk has a very sweet, vanilla taste. She probably doesn't hate the taste of cow's milk, it's just something new and different and she prefers the taste of the familiar formula.
She will get used to it eventually, and even if she doesn't it's not a big deal if she's eating plenty of other dairy foods like yoghurt and cheese.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try mixing cows with formula.
She's 11 months so we have a few weeks to try to get her used to the taste. She doesn't really like yoghurt either although can usually squeeze in half a fromage frais.

Oh, also I was wondering did you literally just quit formula on their 1st birthday or phase it out?

Ah, I'm fairly sure you shouldn't start replacing bottles with cows milk until after 12m. They really need the complete nutrition of the formula until after they turn 1.

After that, I'd use your judgement as to how soon to phase out the formula according to how varied and rich in nutrients their diet is.

My DD has allergies so I chose to keep BF until 2 to ensure that any lack in her diet from food being limited could be made up for.

My two and a half year old still drinks toddler milk at bed time (and through the night 😰) ...the cow and gate number 4 I prefer has less calories in which I was hoping would mean she ate more during the day but nope

Yes I used toddler milk
I tried to wean on to cows milk but ended up weaning onto petit filo, baby bels and orange squash instead. Oops! Tried going back to toddler milk, but he doesn't like it any more. Best I've done with cows milk is making hot chocolate or added to smoothies or made into milk shakes.

Bubs on toddler milk - did you find they took to it well? Like did they notice any difference between infant and toddler formula?

Mine didn't even notice, no. Had it warm at bedding mostly. Then warm in a sippy cup as I phased out the bottle not long after
