Uninterested In feeding

My DS is 6 weeks, Bfing was going really well until this last week or so.
He seems hungry all the time but also very lazy and doesnt put much effort into feeding. This means he eats little for 5-10 minutes every 30-60 minutes which I dont mind but it just seems I'm sat at home feeding him ALL the time.

He had a tongue tie for about 10 days until it was snipped but I'm not sure this made any difference to latch, he sometimes makes clicking noises as if hes not on properly. Then he seems to spit up quite a bit no matter how long I burp him for. Sometimes when feeding he starts screaming and I can't work out why.

HV and GP arent concerned as hes almost doubled in birth weight and having plenty of dirty nappies etc.

Another problem is the positioning as the only hold ive found to work is rugby ball hold, however hes getting so heavy to hold one handed now as I have to hold my boob in his mouth so it doesnt slip out.

Sorry this post is just a big rant, just struggling a bit atm. Would just like to have a bath without him needing feeding

the quick and often feeds could have something to do with the recent hot weather as when it's hot babies often want the first watery milk for the thirst and they feed more often and for short time..or he simply is becoming more efficient at feeding and can do it in shorter space of time..feeding often could mean he is working on your milk supply and demanding more to be made as he is growing and needs more..crying and frustration could mean a fast let down or that the breast is too full so you can try to express a bit first or lean back a bit when feeding..good weight gain and wet nappies are great indication that he is getting what he needs so you are doing a great job

Yes in the hot weather they often feed for shorter periods more regularly. Can you use a cushion or something under your arm to support him rather than holding him? At least while at home, appreciate it’s harder in a cafe or whatever.
