Hello!

We've noticed that this thread is quite old and thought it might be useful to point you in the direction of our breast pump reviews page which has some useful advice on the best manual, electric and double breast pumps on the market right now.

Hope that helps! Flowers

I love my medela swing! Also found hand pumps too tiring and slow! I think medela also make ones where you can pump both breasts at once if you're planning to do loads of pumping...

I have a medela double pump - runs on batteries and on mains. I pumped in the car on the way home from holiday yesterday (not driving though I hasten to add) - seems like a good use of time on a dull car journey to me
I have a TT manual as well which is good, but I get more off if I pump both boobs at the same time.

Bought the Ameda pump and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!!

I'd marry it if I could

Could not get to grips with had pumps and renting a pump would have been more expensive than buying this one.

Did I mention I LOVE it???

Plus there's a code MNP0409 for MNers that gets you 10% off They resell for about 60 on ebay so you don't lose much value.

i bought the avent hand pump but it didnt work for me - the medela electric swing pump was excellent

Personally I love the Medela Swing but I haven't tried any other ones...

depends what you're using it for

for the odd night out I had the TT hand one (cheapest)

for everyday expressing at work the Ameda Lactaline (as ref'd below) was the best £80 I ever spent on baby gear.

but you really don;t need it yet
