11.5 month old won't drink milk

I've had to rather abruptly stop BF for medical reasons and have about 2 sachets of frozen BM in my freezer.

11.5 mo is still intolerant of dairy and soy so both those milks off the list.

Baby will drink oat milk but it just goes straight through him and gives him messy poos.

Have tried formula wise similac alimentum and the dairy free aptimil, he won't drink either of these.

So basically from Friday DS will be drinking no milk at all. Help! What can I do? He's on the dairy ladder but literally stage 1, I understand why he doesn't like formula as the smells rank (even the doctor said he probably wouldn't like it). He's a fairly small weight anyway so want him To keep growing.

I can't express any of my milk as it's now tainted with the medication I am taking.

Thanks!

Which oat milk has he had and how long ago did he last have it? Does he have vitamin drops? X

Mine stopped breastfeeding age 14 months, he's now 21 months old and has never liked milk.

He isn't very chubby but this is probably genetic rather than diet related, as we are all slim and his 4 year old brother is a healthy yet skinny rake too.

I think as long as they're getting a balanced solid food diet it's not a problem at all.

Sib09 I just got some vitamin drips called abbidex today, I have him the oatly full fat stuff (blue container) as of all the plant milks that seemed to be the most calorific.

Bay leaves, thanks he does have a lot of food so hopefully that helps him get some nutrients In him.

We were advised by dietician to use oatly barista, highest fat content/ calcium/B vitamins plus vitamin drops (my son doesn't tolerate neocate etc either). It is more calorific than the blue one aswell but harder to find!

Have you tried cooking it to see if that stays inside abit longer?! It makes really nice custard that my Lb loves. Or if your son will eat the coconut based yoghurts instead that will count as they are fortified too. I freeze it into lollies with some fruit whizzed in. Or cheese substitutes?. Anything that will just take the place of milk really and if he's happy to just drink water during the day you should be fine. Hopefully you've figured something out!

Also advised on these foods too if possible

Peanut or preferably Almond butter - iron/protein/fats
Legumes & lentils- iron/protein/b virus
Chicken - b vits/protien

Also bread wise Waitrose duchy wholemeal is diary & soy free as is Tesco finest wholemeal loaf. Some of Heinz pouches are also DF/SF including bolognese and sweet & sour, good for out and about as that is a whole other challenge (who knew how many things have soya in?!!!!). But try not to worry at a year old diets probably varied enough not to worry too much x
