How much formula 10months

Hi my DS is 10 and a half months and has really cut down on his formula intake - he has 6oz in morning around 6.30am 5 or 6oz around 12pm and then about 3/4 oz before bed about 7.30/8pm. He has a great appetite and is on 3 meals a day breakfast about 9am lunch around 1.30pm and dinner about 5.30pm. I was talking to some mums today who said he should be on a minimum of 20-24oz a day, some days we are struggling to get 13-15oz of formula. They suggested cutting down on meals and reintroducing another bottle but I'm not sure if this is going backwards with weaning. How much formula did your babies take around 10m?

My son is 10.5 months and recently started cutting back on the bottles. Currently offer an 8 bottle for morning nap about 9.30 (wakes at 6/7) has another bottle before afternoon nap at 2.30 and then one at bedtime at 7pm. Doesn't normally finish a whole bottle, will be easier to get rid of in a few months if he's cutting back him self

It was 20 floz but that's changed now. I think between 19 and 12 months it's 400 ml which is 13.5 floz, so it sounds like you're both doing really well. Just make sure LO has a vitamin supplement each day.

There's some more information in this guide from the Caroline Walker Trust Smile

Its still 20oz but milk in cereal, yoghurt, cheese, etc all count towards that too

Sorry I should have said between 10 and 12 months.
