Small hole in nipple - what can I put on?

My 13 month old has kindly pierced a small hole/dent in the underside of one of my nipples, thanks to a sharp new tooth.

It's getting quite sore and slightly weepy (clear stuff although I can't see very well) and I'd like to pop something on it to help the healing as tried Lansinoh for a few days but it's not helping in the right way. Germalene, Savlon? Salt water?

I'm only feeding at bedtime now - although he is feeding on both sides so unfortunately can't avoid that side. I've been trying to alter his position slightly but he just shifts back. I have about nine hours before bedtime feed - any idea what might help it?

Jelonet- it's a burns dressing but worked wonders on my tongue-tie ravaged nipples!

Also, I know it's not easy with a toddler, but go back to basics and try to encourage a good latch, with him taking as big a mouthful as possible.

Jelonet, what a great name! Thanks, Tuck. Ouch, glad you got sorted.

Thanks for reminding me about good latch - it is important. We had latch problems as a newborn but he's been great since. I think they can get a bit lazy can't they. He's often so eager for it he kind of latches himself before I'm holding/supporting him properly which means he's got most nipple in the front of his mouth/lips.
