Have you tried playtex?

If it is just mornings I wouldnt bother leaving any milk. I would just feed her as normal the rest of the time.

If you dont want to express what about leaving cartons of formula if she wants it?

I really would bother than. DD at that age would have had 2 oz of expressed bm in that time from the playtex teats.

If you're home by one it seems a bit pointless to get stressed about trying to get her to take it.

When I went back to work dd would not drink any formula, I think because she was solely bf up to that point she just didn't like the taste of formula, I used to get up early and bf her before I left, mainly to ensure my own comfort.
Strangely although she kicked up a fuss about drinking ebm when I was in the house, she quite happily drank it when alone with dp... who anounced the whole stay at home parenting thing a complete doddle... of course the fact that my home resembled a bomb site was a complete other matter.
I of course spent the first day back at work ringing home every five seconds and then went home early.... Was quite dismayed to see dd happily playing with dp, don't think she even noticed I was gone!!!!

yorkiegirl - if you are only working mornings then I wouldn't bother about bottle at all. She could have water/juice as a drink and you can breastfeed her when you come home (and before going to work if you have time). She certainly does not need formula.

My DS was only 5 months when I returned to work and would never take EBM from a bottle. The childminder used to offer him other drinks and although I worked full-time, I was able to return at lunchtime and give him a feed.If your son will be 7 months, it really wont be a problem to wait until 1pm for a breast feed and I certainly would not offer formula.

Sorry-should have said your DD not son!

Yorkiegirl, that's great

Well done yorkiegirl. These things do tend to sort themselves out even though you've spent ages worrying about it
