Last feed before bed - nightmare!!

My DS is generally a good feeder. He's 10 weeks, bottle fed, and generally takes 130-150ml per feed, feeding roughly every 3 hours.
Recently though, he's started screaming and kicking during his last feed before bed (7pm ish). I just can't work out why. He seems hungry at the start of the feed, but then totally freaks out, pushing out the bottle and writhing around. He calms down with his dummy, but ends up only having about 70ml.
Has anyone else experienced similar? I'm wondering if he's over tired? He's not falling asleep though.
Any thoughts welcome!!

Can't offer any advice I'm afraid except to go and spk to your health visitor. They will probably be able to advise you. Good luck.

I can't offer any solution I'm afraid as I never found one but my ds (a few years ago now but I still remember it) started doing this but was his 2pm feed - used to stress me out! Eventually just dropped the feed but I guess that's not an option for you. He was about 9 months. Never did it at any other feed.

If you think he may be overtired, could you try bringing the feed a little earlier? Smile

My baby is almost 5 weeks and the 10.30pm feed seems to be like this. I give him infacol before every feed but he definitely seems to have pains which his last feed of the day. Could you baby have pains? It does seem to be common that this can happen on the last bottle of the day.
