His weight dropped recently and hes had weight issues in the past so I am trying.to make sure he is getting enough food and not too (debatable) breastmilk.
I find it difficult to fit in 3 meals 2 naps and 3 snacks plus water (which he wont drink) so I would love to see how others manage it.
Also a rough idea of what you give them....my DS seems to live off pasta

Thanks in advance!!

DS is 1 week off 11 months. Rough timings
7.30am breastfeed
8am breakfast
9.45-10.30am nap, breastfeed when awake
12.30pm lunch
1.30-3pm nap, breastfeed when awake
I usually offer him some very dilute juice between this point and dinner, perhaps also some fruit or yogurt if he seems hungry
6pm dinner
7.45pm breastfeed
8pm bed
10.30pm breastfeed (dream feed)

Hope that helps. I think he breastfeeds a bit more often than normal but he eats pretty well too. I could probably replace the mid morning and/or mid afternoon milk feeds with a snack but tbh I'm lazy and breastfeeding is convenient! He's only just started sleeping through the night consistently for the past 10 days or so, which is amazing and I really hope I've not jinxed it now by putting it in writing. He's quite big, around 23 or 24 lbs I think and very long.

DS is 8mo... I'm not sure if his feeding schedule is right though, so would appreciate any thoughts?

7am - Baby porridge followed by 7oz formula.
11am - Lunch, often an Ella's kitchen pouch, followed by 7oz formula.
3pm - 'Dinner', often toast! Followed by formula.
7pm - Formula.

Oh and what I give him:
Breakfast is Ready Brek or Weetabix with fruit puree or mashed banana
Lunch is a selection from toast with butter or philadelphia, omelette, small pieces of cheese or ham, falafel, bread sticks, thick soup. Fruit or yogurt afterwards
Dinner - he likes pasta too with Bolognese or cheese sauce. I sometimes give him what we are having in finger food and/or mashed form. He really loves carrot batons and eats an astonishing amount of these, also peas and broccoli. Long may it last. Failing that, I freeze little portions of our leftovers like mince, beef stew, soup, so if we are having something that isn't suitable I'll defrost something for him. I've recently started boiling up some sweet potato every few days, mashing it and keeping it in the fridge. It's always a handy accompaniment to dinner.

Water and a biscuit at toddler group
12 lunch - a mashed soft boiled egg, a couple of cherry tomatoes, a cracker
12.45-2.15 - nap
2.30pm - half a piece of toast and peanut butter, slice of apple, 4oz milk
5pm tea - small IKEA plastic bowl of chilli con carne and rice, sweetcorn, fromage frais

6.15pm 6oz bottle

11 month old dd-

7.45 5oz formula

9am breakfast: left over 2oz formula with weetabix or ready break mixed with fruit purée or mashed banana

12pm lunch: cheese spread sandwich, toast and omelette, brioche bun or crumpet with fruit

2.30pm: 6 oz milk (sometimes doesn't finish it all)

4pm snack: oat bar or biscotti

5.30pm dinner: pasta brocolli and cheese (favourite) or what ever we're having usually fish, pasta, chicken, spag Bol she pretty much eats anything - she's not fussy

8pm 7oz or 8oz bottle

As for water I fill her cup up for lunch time then just leave it on the floor for her to help her self through out the day. I have one of them miracle 360 cups and they're brilliant.

Hope this helps :)

Thats great thanks. DS has now dropped all day breastfeeds. I hope Hes getting enough calcium. He doesnt eat cheese but will eat a pot of fromage frais a day and has full milk in his morning porridge.
