Does this sound like oversupply or something else?

I'll try to be as concise as possible but there's a lot going on at the moment!
Baby is 5 weeks old tomorrow, ebf, 91st centile. Back up to birth weight (and beyond) by 12 days. So far so good! Noticed about 2.5 weeks that she seemed to be struggling with fast flow of milk and gulping at feeds. Latch and positioning checked and told were fine, just forceful letdown. Since then she is still struggling but now will only feed from 1 side for a few minutes. Nappies are now green and mucousy (although some still normal) but she is congested at the moment, mostly at night when nappies are greenest. She doesn't sick up much but wind can get trapped and be quite forceful. She also makes a clicking noise sometimes during the first letdown.
Things I've tried:
I feed lying on side at night, doesn't seem to help much
Pumping before feed, this does seem to help but I also have a toddler so doesn't always happen
Leaning back, no difference
Lying down, struggle with larger boobs.
Any idea what's going on? If this is oversupply when does it usually calm down?

Sounds like forceful letdown (and possibly oversupply, I think they often come together) - similar to my experience at this stage and I think pretty common.

There's a few tips of things you can try here: kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/supply-worries/fast-letdown/

I also found that the leading back thing didn't make much difference. I did find that taking baby off at the letdown and letting the milk spray into a muslin then putting her back when it had calmed down helped. Might be easier to do with a toddler around than pumping before feed. I also found it was better when baby was sleepy and so didn't suck so forcefully (she has an incredibly strong suck!).

For me this went on for some time, I can't remember exactly but I think until around 10 weeks.

Thanks monkey I've been catching the letdown in a muslin which has helped a lot and I think my supply may be starting to stabilise. Still got some issues though (or maybe these things are normal??)
She is very colicky in the evenings
She does normal coloured poo in the day but green ones in the evening or at night
She's a very quick feeder, max 10 mins per side
Still often only takes 1 side per feed
She has had a blister on her top lip since the early days and it is still there, skin keeps dropping off and the blister keeps coming back.

That said, she is still gaining weight so maybe this is her normal? I went to see a specialist health visitor last week about this and she checked for tongue tie and said everything sounded fine.

Hi i had/have oversupply though no green poo or comic but did cause digestive problems. Muslin trick helped until it calmed down about 8-10 weeks. The last two things in your list above, I don’t think they are problems? My baby has fast feeds and only ever has one boob per feed that’s just her feeding style and likely linked to letdown speed and supply - if loads of milk coming out quickly I think well why would she hang about and need both boobs? She’s chucking on weight and happy. But I used to worry feed time wasn't long enough and write down 8 min feeds etc but it was absolutely fine: weight gain and wet and dirty nappies are guidance not time at breast. My wee one’s often got a milk blister in fact I don’t even look anymore as my HV said it was normal and it’s never caused her any trouble (16 weeks now).

Glad the muslin trick helped! DD also had the blister which came and went - I got so used to it I've totally forgotten when it disappeared but it did eventually. She also could feed in ten minutes and often fed from only one side (just sometimes moving second side) until she was over five months old. I'd say all those things sound normal and nothing to worry about Smile

As well as oversupply/let down, consider keeping a record of what you are eating and drinking throughout the day. Eg her evening poos might be different in response to an afternoon milky tea or something. Might be something you can cut from your diet to resolve that issue.

As Pasta said the green poo is likely to be something in your diet, mine did green poo whenever I ate something with chilli in.
