Is there usually a growth spurt at 15 weeks?

ds has gone from sleeping through 8pm - 7am to waking 3 times in the night, and much earlier in the morning (like, 5 o clock....yawn....) he settles after a feed, so i know he's hungry, but i didn't think there was another growth spurt so soon. do they have them every 4 weeks, or 6 weeks or what? i know it will differ from baby to baby, but there must be some overlying pattern???

also, he started to grab for the crusts off my sandwich this morning, i know this should be in the weaning topic, but what do i do if he grabs something and starts to eat it??? is that blw?? he can't even sit up yet!

If he grabs something to eat it, just take it back, and tell him he has to wait another 11 weeks!

It's probably is a growth spurt, I don't know how often these are supposed to occur, but I do know not all babies follow the textbooks.

They all go a bit strange at 15 weeks. It will get better again soon.

Do the same to a crust as you would do to an electrical cord at 15 weeks - take it away from him.

Let him suck and chew on lots of non food items.

thanks guys, i thought that was probably the case. i wouldn't've let him eat that crust anyway, even if he was 24 weeks - it had lots of mustard on it! i think he was just grabbing for it, cause he grabs for lots of things at the moment. he likes to chew on his fists and his comforter and muslins, so think we'll stick with that for now!!

Growth spurts can be hard but they do pass.
