I have just stopped breastfeeding DD2 aged 19 months. She was bfing about 8 times a day and really enjoyed.
I have mixed feelings about stopping, but she seems to have adjusted very well without breastfeeding. I think I miss it more then she does!
My main worry is that she will not drink cow's milk, except a very small amount on her cereals and in mashed potato. Come to think of it, she has never eaten much in the way of dairy products - no eggs, yoghurt, custard, not even ice cream.
She has never been a good eater, and was found to have low iron levels a couple of months ago and was given iron supplements. Since then her diet has improved and she eats protein, fruit, veg and carbohydrates.
My question is do I need to worry if she never drinks milk?
