bananaloaf

you could try the enfamil latofree? I even drink that as it tastes rather nice, you have to ask ime- not all GP's know the brand (more common in US) but if you check its very reputable

No idea, and I can't get the abstracts.

I would be amazed, and very interested to read the abstacts

thank peachy will speak to gp/dietican

Yes I saw that NQC, but it's an ELISA. It's just detecting antigens, it can't tell whether a protein is intact by that method. You can't tell much from such a short abstract, but they don't mention any other method.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 28/03/2007 20:46

can it only cause a reaction if it is intact? My mind is a bit fuzzy for science

NQC- the symptoms are excema, wheeziness and loads of mucous. He seems to have had it since he was unwell after I took vermox, treated the whole family for worms on the advice of my old doctor when ds1 brought them home. That really affected his digestive system, and the homeopath thinks this contributed and that cutting dairy from my diet will help him recover?

Tamum · 28/03/2007 22:11

No, it can cause a reaction if it's broken down, potentially, so that might be the problem. I was just defending the GP, as what he/she said was technically correct
