Formula - stressed out!

I am going round and round in circles with this one :(

So my LO (first child) has been exclusively breastfed since birth, she's now 3 1/2 months and I'm thinking of making the transition to formula, purely because I can't keep up with her appetite and I struggle to express more than 2 oz.

We've tried combination feeding where she gets two bottles a day ad she's thriving from it!

Now my confusion comes with making up a bottle of formula, when I was a baby my Mam would make up the bottles for a day and store tem in the fridge so I thought great that's easy! However when researching I found that the guidelines are to make up a fresh bottle at each feed, I obviously want to do what's best so won't store in advance if this is bad.

Also do you have to wait 30 mins or can you just put boiling water it and then cool it?

Literally getting so worked up because I just want what's best and don't want to make her ill by doing it wrong

We have just embarked on bottle feeding and I too am feeling totally confused lol! A friend recommended the tommee tippee travel flask. She/we use it at home to make life a bit easier and bottle making a bit quicker! Boil the kettle, allow to cook as guidelines recommend. Then pour in the flask. It keeps at the right the temperature for up to 8 hours, so whenever you need a bottle u have instant hot water That is the right temp to kill the bacteria in the powder. Then all u need to do is cool down to drinkable temp for baby. We are a few days in and it has deffo helped. We are also noticing our LO is settling into a pattern so we are able to predict when she wants a feed, and get ahead of the game and prepare and cook the bottle down in time for her. Once made the bottle is good for 2 hours, so we usually make it about half an hour before we expect her to be hungry and know we have a 2 hour window to feed her with it.

I'm still getting my head round it all, despite some pretty good guidelines online. I always seem to have questions about it lol! Good luck x
