Being bitten by my 9 month old dd, she seems to enjoy it (teething atm but will NOT use a teething ring), if i get upset she cries. If i stop feeding her she will either, make such a fuss i give in or do it next feed.

Dont know what to do.

Seems a bit odd to say it when you've been feeding for 9 months but you could try using a nipple shield while her teething is bad.

hmm, will consider that, wonder if she'll take to it? would i have to sterilise even though she is big?

At 9 months I shouldn't think so...if she hasn't had any bottles previously I would make sure its washed in very hot water (dish washer on hot preferably). Got to be worth a try?!

anything is worth a try atm! i did buy some one sale when i was pregnant, just in case, just wondering where they are (moved here 3 weeks or so ago), she nevver had a bottle so i have never sterilised so not sure of rules.

'Birth to five' states that tap water is safe from 6 months so it should follow that items washed in tap water should also be safe. If in doubt stick in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes and they will be sterile (remember to them seal them in a container to keep them clean).

Hi, sorry I'm just in the middle of dinnertime but there are some other threads that talk about biting in the B/F section: To bite or not to bite? that is the question! from sat 3rd march. etc

There are lots of little things that you try. will come back later.. I feel for you as my DS2 has quite a sharp nip when he puts his mind to it!

Nipple shields a no go, but not finding many other suggestions, i have pulled her close to stop biting but then she really gets upset, putting her down does nothing to stop it either.
