I have a good supply, and am also eating absolutely loads (which I've always done, have fast metabolism and am a bit hypoglaecemic so need to snack), but definitely eating more meat, milk and not worrying about the saturated fats in food (don't eat any processed food).. I'm also eating fair amounts of chocolate, but also good stuff like oats, sunflower seeds and dried fruit..

But wouldn't mind losing a bit more weight: I was one of these skinny people before I had a baby, now am skinny again but with a paunch and about 3 kgs more than I weighed before preg.. However I don't want to jeopardise milk supply. any tips from anyone? My SIL was back exactly to her pre preg shape by 5 months, and I'm still spilling over my jeans.. I will probably bf till 1 year old and then most likely get preg again, so don't want to stay larded up till then! Help!

I think the general consensus is yes - you don't need a high fat diet to bf. Just eat healthily to meet your own nutritional needs and don't think about needing extra for the milk.

Apparently you can do weight watchers whilst bf - you get extra points as you use up more calories.
