has anyone tried these and would you recommend them? I started out with washable breastpads when feeding DS but had to switch to disposables as I leaked right through the washable ones. I use washable nappies so would prefer not to use disposable breast pads this time around (due in 8 weeks) if i can help it.
Thanks!!

I've two friends who are using them and like them. I think they are better once your milk output has stablised as they stop the flow rather than moping it up, if I manage to get beyond 9 weeks this time, I will invest in a pair.

I've got some and not so keen, had my baby last week, now my milks come in I can't keep them stuck to my nipples, as soon as a little bit of milk gets behind them they leak terrible, I'm really not impressed. I'm currently using Lillypadz, disposable breast pads and kitchen roll all at once.

I used them with my second baby and I was impressed but I leaked NO WHERE NEAR as much as I did with my first. They were great for when I wanted to go swimming.

If you have a strong let down at first then they are not ideal. I used them and they leaked every time. However there comes a point where your let down is not as strong and at this point they are great. Then later you don't leak at all when you let down reflex domes in.

To be honest my top tip is not breastpads at all but folded up muslins. Fab for night time as super absorbant, washable and well - you have them anyway. When I was out and about I used to quickly pop one in the cup of the bra that my lo was not feeding from and hey presto instant protection.

Breastpads are very expensive and the costs do mount up - but you don't have to use breastpads to solve the problem. I speak from experience - my little girl is 16 months and I am still breast feeding. I still have my lilypadz - used them once - would just need sterilising - your welcome to them if you want them.
