How long for milk to dry up

Transitioning ds from boob to bottle. He's 99% there, I only really feed him very first thing in the morning like 5/6am even then it's every odd day. I've still got milk in both boobs and I am not "full" anymore after a night. How long will it take to completely dry up

It's a bit unknown. For some women it's a few days, some weeks or months and still having milk years later is not unheard of.

If you not feeding at all and finding it distress or uncomfortable it's worth taking to your GP as there are some medications you can take to dry your milk up.

I stopped breastfeeding in April and still have milk although it's not uncomfortable now. My Mum still had milk when my younger sister was seven! Again, she didn't feel full and it wasn't uncomfortable but she had the occasional leak.

Mine took two weeks.
