i am exclusively breast feeding my 3 week old ds, but i'm finding i can't cope with him being permanently attached to me! this afternoon i have had an hour where he's NOT been feeding! i've never bottle fed before, is there anything i should do that will make him take to it better?

oh yeah he clearly needs it all, i'm just struggling to keep up!! not my milk supply, just me! i figure, if i express then dh can do one of the early morning feeds before he goes to work so i can get a bit more sleep.

should i warm the milk like you do with formula? put it into a jug of warm water till it's body temp?

Yes, warm expressed milk up in a jug. BTEW, sounds normal at 3 weeks as they have a growth spurt about then. It will pass

When I had expressed it, I kept it in the fridge in a bottle then when I wanted it I just put it in a jug of boiling water and til it was warm enough (it always seemed to take ages though!)

TBHT, I found expressing a real faf and it took me ages to get the right amount for DS (I did have a hand powered pump though). I ended up only doing it when I was stopping BF DS to get him used to a cup as it was more work that just wipping my boob out!

A lie in does sound very tempting though!!
