Fed up, anyone else?

Feed, cry, puke, cry, repeat all frigging day long.

DD 2 months old and I just can't be arsed.

I know it'll pass but I'm fed up.

Anyone else?

Yep. DS is 8 weeks. Watching him puke up an entire feed just after he's finished it is so disheartening. And he gets terrible wind in the evenings and cries for an hour or two then. I feel so sorry for him. But also for myself!

And he was taking a bottle, so at least I could make DH share the pain a bit, but yesterday he decided to start refusing anything except boob.

DH is not as upset about this as I would like.

Can I join? Currently got a 4 week old baby boy velcroed to me 24/7, everytime I put him down he screams blue blooming murder, DH is getting annoyed by me asking for drinks and snacks all the time and house looks like a war zone.

Passing the (non alcoholic) Wine round - surely 12pm isn't too early if you been up since 3am?!?!

Yep! 12 week old stuck to me 24/7 as well, it gets so boring. I have made some peace with it - I remember that 6-8 week hell where I woke up every morning thinking I can't face doing that same day all over again! Smile

Hugh I totally agree, DD saturated her bib, whilst the puke that missed bib fell between my legs (wearing light blue jeans and currently in a restaurant).

Had to change her sleepsuit because she soaked that and is continuing to bring up milk after she's all changed.

However she doesn't seem to mind Confused

Jo I think you have to make peace with it all to get by.

The clingy behaviour gets me down sometimes. My mum says I need to put her down, sister says she needs to learn to self sooth. I'm like no way! She's still a tiny wee baby.

DS filled my bra with vomit the other morning. Just after I'd finally managed to put him down for long enough to take a shower. Missed himself entirely Hmm

I've had the - you should put her down more so she's used to being away from you.. In theory, I get it. However, a clingy baby separated from mother deliberately surely becomes more clingy? I'm lucky because she will go in bouncy for 10mims while I shower and can do a 20min stint while watching me cook dinner/eat (but has to be fed either side of those events to stop the crying Smile But it's way better than the 12-16hour screaming marathons we've had Grin

3 week old son has basically been attached since day 1. Husband is back at work next week and I'm not sure how we're going to leave the house ever again...

Definitely, aslong as I know I'm not too far from home, if it all goes tits up I can go home quickly and the journey won't be too painful!

I'm quite partial to going to my local Costa Coffee. Although it's getting expensive!

11 week old DS2 refuses anything but boob and will only be put down for a few minutes. He's awesome, but boy do I need him to take a bottle of expressed milk.

Ds1 is a star and I feel I'm being a shit mum to him. Been out all morning then just watched endless fucking Paw Patrol chilled at home all afternoon. He's waiting up for DH. He's just asked me for a drink but I'm pinned under a feeding DS2 Sad

I can't express (and haven't had the spare time!) so as baby has decided to wake every 2 hours at night, then spend an hour sucking to sleep each time, I'm having great fun Grin

I've got the can't be put down, has to be fed to sleep situation going on too.

On the plus side, I've got a five year old DD who is great at going to bed!

Just came across this thread here and realised I'd heard a story about a wee baby puking on her mummy's trousers recently... Wink

DD is completely wide awake because I'm home from my work and want to go to sleep now. Also she's feeding all bobbing on and off and almost biting me. New tooth must feel funny. Go to sleep baby...like your daddy already has. Angry

I had a better night last night. I think I had a stretch of sleep that lasted 3.5 hours.

Then we co slept the rest of the night. I like bedtimes sometimes. Although she's still never away from me, my arms get a rest at least!
