What is it with crap breast pads???

I've tried a bunch of different brands and the only ones I've found that contain my extreme leakage and don't stick to my nipples (seriously OW) are Lansinoh. But they aren't always available, at the moment I'm wearing Waitrose own brand which both leak and stick.

Any recommendations from anyone else please?

The Johnson and Johnson ones in a pink box were the only ones that worked for me and my enormous, leaky breastfeeding boobs.

Softest disposable ones I've found are by PureBaby, from Home Bargains. But I think the best all-rounders are the washable Philips Avent ones.

Avoid Boots own in the 80 pack, they are a lot smaller than the Lansinoh. Unfortunately I bought 160 of the tiny things so have to put 2 in to catch overflow from the highest one!

Sainsbury are also tiny like the boots ones. Boots do a larger slimline one though, in individual wrapping, as do tesco. I dint think they are much different to landing, just cheaper.

Lansinoh are the only ones that worked for me too. They seem to work more like a nappy - taking the liquid and locking it in. All the others are basically cotton wool with coffee filter paper over the top.

I didn't find any very good in the first few weeks. I used lansinoh sometimes when I didn't need it to stop them sticking to my nipples, agree very ouch.

I eventually moved onto washable ones. I had some lovely bamboo ones that were so comfortable and didn't show through your clothing.

I agree - Lansinoh, Johnson and johnsons and boots reusable are the best I've used.

Agree with washable bamboo breast pads. You can get them on Amazon. They are very comfortable.

Do they still do the Tommee Tippee ones. I used to use them, as found Lansinoh were good, but thin.

Mothercare washable ones are good, if a little on the small side...

When I used disposables it had to be Johnsons ones, they were the only ones that worked. I moved to reusables though and they're so much better. None of that clammy feeling or worries about slipping. Baby is now 13 months and I haven't had to buy any in ages!

Lansinoh definitely the best. Tommy Tippee also ok. None of the others worked very well for me.

Another fan of the Johnson and Johnson ones and I have discovered my local morrisons sells them for £1 a box! Previously I have paid £3-4 for them so have stocked up with Dc6 due in a week or so.

Oh yes, the Johnsons &, Johnsons worked really well for me..I will be stock piling them from Morissons, thanks 5madthings!

Avoid the Tesco ones. They were the worst for me.

When I had sore weeping nipples, tommee tippee were the only ones that didn't get stuck to my nipples.

Now that they've healed I can wear anything. Currently in lansinoh and tommee tippee. I've got sainsbury's but they are visible through your bra and top I think if it's quite a close fitting one!

I got some bamboo reusable ones from Amazon that blew everything else out of the water in terms of absorbsncy, they were like always maxi nights for nipples.

Surprised by the J&J suggestions, I found them really abrasive. I think I've neglected Sainsburys own brand though so I might try those or some bamboo ones. Thanks all.

Tommee tippee wins for me. I found if I let the lansinoh ones get too wet, like overnight, they would break and those gel things would end up all over me.

I used to buy lansinoh ones in bulk from Amazon. I think you can set up a regular delivery every month as well.

Yes reusables all the way! They are so much better at staying in place and the bamboo ones have never leaked on me. And in the beginning it was like carrying round two leaky taps. Hang on I'll dig out the link...

I had a horrible oversupply of milk (oww) and found lansinoh were the only suitable ones. But even then, I wore 3 at a time.

1 lansinoh and 2 shit boots own brand ones as I bought them and felt I may as well use them up. Why does breastfeeding have to be so messy!

They were nature babies bamboo washable breastpads, £7.50 plus delivery for 6. I bought them in Jan 15 and still use them every day.
