How much expressed bm have you got/ should you have frozen for 'emergencies' etc

My supply in the freezer is dwindling - I have enough for about 2 feeds.

Dd2 is 10 months and is exc bf - but is very reluctant to take a bottle anyway.

I go back to work in Jan when dd2 (then 11 months) will be bf first and last thing and have water/cows milk in a sippy cup during the day - and I won't be expressing during the day. I will bf on demand on the days I look after.

I'm reluctant to express as I don't want to have watermelons because of my supply building up etc.

Do you think I should have a bit more bm stored or not to worry and just give dd2 cows milk if I'm not there to bf her - on the very rare occasion I go out in the evening?

TIA

I just give cows milk now for the rare feeds when I am not around.

I've given cows milk on the one occasion I wasn't there. By 11 months I'd think it would be fine, as it is in addition to bf, not replacing it.
She may well prefer to wait when you are at work, but I wouldn't try and express for such a short time.

Thanks girls for your advice!

This will make life easier, I always have cows milk in for dd1 and being organic is rich in omega 3 so better than 'normal' cows milk anyway!

Yay - I can put away my breast pump and steriliser (that I never use anyway!)
