Nursing bra advice please!

Hi all, am 39 weeks pregnant and keen to give breastfeeding a go when little one puts in an appearance.
Only thing is I am really confused about conflicting advice I've had on nursing bras.
I am currently wearing a nursing bra from Blooming Marvellous which fits well (32E). I was told that once the baby arrives you tend to go down a back size and up a cup size (or more) once your milk comes in. I've been to both Mothercare and M&S hoping to get a couple more bras to see me through the early days but they were spectacularly unhelpful, not being very forthcoming with advice - as well as not stocking small back sizes.
So my questions are:

• Any advice on sizing / how my boobs might change once baby's here?
• How many bras might I need to see me through the first little while whilst everything gets established?
• Anyone know where stocks nursing bras in small back sizes?

I personally wouldnt buy any more bras in advance as, in my experience, you don't know what's going to happen until your milk comes in and you start feeding. I went from a 34F to a 30JJ
I took a trip to bravissimo when DS was about 10 days old and they sorted me out. I think I had a wash & wear.
I wouldnt buy too many as once your feeding settles you might drop back down a cup or two again.

You'll want a proper bra eventually as these are a bit monobooby but perfect for early days / under pyjamas.

Some sleep bras might be useful in the early days, as I doubt you will be out and about for a couple of days at least they are perfect for around the house.
They are like little crop tops but with the cup hooks for easy feeding, usually they are small/meduim/large so not so restrictive on finding the right back&cup size combination.

Second the jojo soft bras for the early days. I seem to remember wondering around with no bra quite a bit too. Then go to a shop and get measured when things settle down a bit. I preferred the cotton bras from Emma Jayne.

Thanks Mumsnetters, as usual you've come up trumps! Think I'll order a couple of cheapie seamless jobs to see me through until things settle and I've worked out how to leave the house with a newborn in tow, and then take myself off to be measured. Advice much appreciated!

I agree with others that don't buy bras just yet, except for a few stretchy ones. It's very hard to guess what size you will be. And personally, I don't wear nursing bras - unless you normally wear very stordy full cup bras only, it's actually just as easy to slide the strap down your shoulder and hoik you boob out of a normal bra. Much better support and shape though.

Oh and do NOT go to M&S or Mothercare, they have no idea about fitting. Find a Bravissimo.
