DS was born in July so thus far i have been in nursing vests with a cardigan. Its getting colder thouvh and i realize NONE of my winter clothes are suitable to feed in. Maybe the odd wrap dress but nothing casual
Any suggestions or recommendations?

One of my biggest bug bears about nursing clothes is that most of them are really ugly and frumpy.

For winter I try to find normal clothes that a. I like! And b. Have easy access to get my boobs out. I find it a real struggle tbh.

Wrap dresses/shirts, button down tops with large buttons for easier access (little ones are too fiddley for me!) and a supply of different cardis are my staples.

Just a thicker cardigan and a large scarf usually. Put more layers on the bottom. So add tights and leggings under wrap dress and add warm boots/ slippers. Add thick cardigan and scarf.

Or Jeans and thick cashmere jumper and just lift jumper up and vest down

I spent some money in Uniqlo on a few Heattech tops and camisoles for layering. They're warm, but very thin so I can wear a top over a tshirt without my boobs looking even more huge, plus the camis pull down for boob access well and keep my tummy warm and covered :)

Ditto heat tech from uniqlo. I practically live in their scoop neck long sleeve tops. Then I am currently living in swingy a line tops with a dropped hem at the back to cover my bum. Cos have lovely jersey and wool ones. Nice with jeans ( M&s jeggings are okay - can't wait to get back into pre pregnancy jeans!) and leggings. Big chunky cardis are good too. I am going with black/grey/navy as my colour scheme for this winter. It's only 6 months and easier to have everything tone in and break out the colour in the spring.

Ps M&s have a similar range of thermals. Called heat gen. Thin, stretchy and warm.

With dd1 did what Art said, just normal tops with bf vest underneath and lift up.

This time I'm expressing and bottle feeding (dd2 choice Hmm) so l still need to wear the horrid bf bra but can wear whatever else l want.

I'm just trying to find the positives in this bottle feeding never fucking ending bottle cleaning malarkey Grin

I wore a lot of skinny jeans and baggy jumpers + an HM feeding vest or just a stretchy one I could pull down and lift jumper up. I found nursing clothes put a bit more boob on display than I was comfortable with (boobs were MASSIVE when feeding!)

I found these nursing hoodies from Purpless (they do a few different styles) over a nursing vest were a great buy. I've just dug them out again to start using this autumn and winter.

DD was born last November, I bought a load of strappy vests and long sleeve tops from primark; wore the straps on the vest long and then just pulled that down and the top up to feed. Worked until about April when t started getting too hot for two layers :-)
