Feeding more in day to reduce night feeds- 9 month old

I've recently posted in sleep section about my 9 month dd and her frequent waking for bf. Her sleep is erratic and it's generally 2-3 hourly waking and each time she feeds as if hungry (rather than just comfort I think). I usually just cosleep, try not to watch the clock and just to go with it but I'm getting exhausted. Last night I really wanted to get her in her cot for a few hours as I was feeling unwell. So at 2am when she was feeding next to me I kept trying to unlatch her but she was having none of it. Every letdown she was gulping and this went on for nearly an hour. Then she was awake again 2 hours later.
She's eating three meals a day and still bf on demand. It's usually toast or porridge at breakfast followed by bf, lunch leftover dinner or a pouch if on the go, followed by bf if she looks for it, dinner whatever we're having. She'll often have a bf mid afternoon and after dinner.
She then feeds for 45 minutes before bed. What do you think? Should I try to up her daytime feeds or lengthen feeding sessions? Has anyone found this helped at night?
