I've just stopped BFing DS (PFB) at 8.5 months, so I'm a formula virgin.
Previously when he woke me at 7-7:15am ish, I rolled out of bed zombie-style and whacked out a boob.
Am I right in thinking that I will now need to be up in time to boil a kettle, sterilise & make up a bottle, and give it enough time to cool down?? By my calculations that means getting up a good 30mins before him, and I am NOT a morning person.

Please tell me there's an easier way!!

Another vote for perfect prep machine, my favourite item we have bought this time round. Wish they existed when I had my other DCs.

I just make it up the night before, although DS would probably wait a little longer now he's 5.5 months. Have done the same for all my DCs.

If we were FF from the start then the perfect prep sounds great, but I can't justify it from 8.5 months onwards!
Because he's a bit older I feel ok about making a bottle up the night before - I looked up the WHO advice after Waggamamma's post and they do indeed say that a madeup bottle can be kept refrigerated for up to 24hrs Smile
Pre-mades are a gift for days out mind you!
