EBF 3mo puke after each feed?

hello

My 3mo EBF DS is an efficient feeder, 10min max on the boob, burp and off we go. I do have quite a forcefull letdown but he deals with it very smartly by unlatching and letting the milk spay everywhere before latching again cheeky sod.

Thing is, he almost always pukes 20-40min after his feed. Sometimes the milk is digested, sometimes not. I got very good at knowing when he's about to puke, he makes a grumpy face and noise then projects vomit quite far. If the puke is a little one, or if he's on his back on his play mat, he'll swallow a bit it back then cough quite a lot poor him.

Normal? Not normal? Did you experience anything like this? WWYD?

Thanks a lot

Sounds exactly the same as my LO, I don't worry as she doesn't seem in any discomfort from it, and it always seems a lot more than it actually is. The more spectacular the mess, the more impressed she seems with her little self!

My 6 month ds was the same and the doctor diagnosed reflux (it was more immediate puking). before that the hv said it was hitting a pocket of wind.
The vomit looks more than it actually is. If you are worried get it checked. it is normal but go with your instincts , it niggled at me. I wasn't taken seriously at first by hv and was told some babies are sick which I totally accept (ds1 was never sick so I was taken aback ) and ds is big and gaining weight etc..
He is now undergoing allergy testing (terrible eczema they think is related to a cmp allergy or similar. You know your baby and how they are in themselves.
Sorry that was rambling, sleep deprivation is turning my brain to mush and left handed phone typing Blush

It sounds like reflux. As long as the baby is putting on weight appropriately and isn't upset about it, it's not seen as a problem because the doctors don't have to keep us with the washing!.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I'm wondering why he pukes so much but I'm not worried about him, he "feels" perfectly fine to me, I'm just very smelly :)
