Green poo at night - does this mean a problem with the latch/milk?

Hi all

Ds (1 month today!) is regularly having green poos but mostly at night - does this indicate an issue with the milk he's getting or the latch? Dr Google keeps suggesting fore/hind milk problems but I've seen on here that this is quite an outdated concept so possibly not an issue. DS is packing on the weight and I'm not having any pain when feeding so I think the latch is ok but maybe I'm a bit more lazy at 2am so he's not going on as deeply?

Green poo is normal at any age and at any time. Don't waste brain cells trying to explain it...it's not a problem :) Green poo just means transit time through the gut has been more quick than if it was yellow (which means the waste has hung round in the lower gut for sufficient time for the yellow colour to be predominant). Some babies always have green poo; all babies have green poo on some occasion or other; most babies have green poo at least every so often.
