Refusing milk

I returned to work two weeks ago. My DS is 10.5 months and my DP is taking the last 8wks of parental leave to look after him (until he turns 1). I have always breastfed. DS has always happily taken a bottle of expressed milk,or formula (from about 7months), and has had one bottle a day. however since I returned to work he will not take the bottles, or a cup of expressed milk, formula or cows milk! He will only take milk from me first thing in the morning and when I get home about 7. He eats really well and love drinking water but I'm worried he isn't getting enough milk. Anyone have any advice or ideas?

Two feeds sounds ok if he is eating well including dairy and drinking enough.

At nearly a year 2 bottles/cups sounds loads just get dad to keep offering it and don't try and get worked does your baby eat yoghurt and cheese

Well I give him two breast feeds rather than bottles / cups (which he has suddenly decided he doesn't want from his father!) Yes he loves yogurt and rice pudding and cheese.

I have no idea how much he takes from me though.

He will get into the new routine I would think he is just not used to you being around yet my babies were having milk morning and night at that age and just water during the day

I am sure he will be ok give your health visitor a ring

He'll take enough, I wouldn't worry. Just give plenty of yoghurt, rice pudding and cheese.

Misread you sorry but 2 breastfeeds is probably enough he maybe associates mummy with milk whether it's expressed or not
