He's 5 months old and ebf. Since last Saturday his poos have been green and watery ie sinking right into the nappy like wee. He's also gone from pooing maybe every other day to pooing 5/6 times a day and a couple of times overnight as well.

He's had the occasional green poo before, but never this watery consistency and never for more than a day.

He's not unwell, no temp, not being sick, not dehydrated, happy in himself. Maybe slightly more restless at night. He is teething and it looks like the bottom two are quite close to breaking through. No noticeable change to his feeding pattern, and nothing unusual in my diet.

He's a decent size, haven't had him weighed for ages but he wears s mix of 6/9-9/12m clothes.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it time for a trip to the drs?

Yes, dehydration is the issue - GP asap!

He's not showing any signs of dehydration at all though - plenty of wet nappies, wet mouth, wet eyes etc....

my DS1 had green/jelly poo when i started taking breastfeeding pregnacare. same with DS2. both times stopped as soon as i stopped taking the vitamins.
could it a change in your diet?

teething quite often gives them horrible nappies due to the extra saliva they're producing and swallowing. If he's happy in himself and still weeing lots (it might be more tricky to tell this at the mo if his poos arer that runny) then I would put it down to teething but if you are at all worried then take him to see a HCP. Do your hv's do a drop in weighing clinic? maybe pop along to them for reassurance.
