My DS is now over 12 weeks old, but still waking to feed every 2 hours over night. He can manage 3-4 hours during the day, still being demand fed. He never feeds more than a couple of minutes at any time, and if I try to get him to go back on the breast or take expressed milk he refuses. He is staying on his 2nd gentile so I'm not worried about his weight but I am getting frustrated over night- any suggestions?

Sounds normal enough to me. You don't need textbooks to tell you what your infants requirements are .Every child is an individual.
Go with the flow. There is no " normal" , there is a lot of bollox about " baby led this" and so forth.
Just be Mom and do what feels right for you and bubba and ignore all the trendy terminology.

Yeah its a bit of a myth that they cut down on feeds neatly. Mine has weeks of less, weeks of more! It won't be forever don't worry ... but they are a law unto themselves sometimes!

My DD was the same and it continued for ages (sorry!). I only survived it by co-sleeping, would that be an option for you?

This is probably really obvious but have you tried offering more frequent feeds during the day eg every 1.5- 2 hours? I can't remember the exact ages but I did find this worked for mine from time to time to help him sleep longer at night. He was a bit of a gannet though and never ever refused a feed when offered!
