Hi there - I've also posted on Sleep thread and have had a helpful answer there on this issue. DS is 13 weeks - very windy and it wakes him up - he sleeps really well the rest of the time. Last night he woke at 4am and it took me til 5ish to get him back off - if he was hungry I could have fed him and popped him back after winding pretty much without a murmur but last night he was really really upset.
I give infacol before each feed still. At the evening and 10.30 feeds I am also giving him a teaspoon of gripe water after I've fed him. One suggestion after posting on sleep thread(which I'll try) is putting some good bacteria powder in his milk in case of slight intolerance to milk.
Question though (sorry rambling) - if I've given the Infacol - is it ok then to give him the gripe water after the feed - He is so sleepy at the 10.30 that he won't wind easily and if I don't wind, he then wakes up !!
THis may be slightly academic if the other tip works but I don't want to find that this is making matters worse rather than better - poor little thing it is really horrible to see them in pain when they just want to be asleep.
Thanks
