Anyone discovered one? Mine just cover rather than hold! Bear in mind my evergrowing bust which stands at 34/36 G atm. And is far from pert anymore!

I used the Bravado bras, which I found very supportive, and very comfortable.

I've got the 36J from Royce (although my non-feeding bra is currently a 36G and fits).

The Royce one is deeply unsexy - squashes my boobs into a very odd shape. But there really doesn't seem to be a lot of choice for large cup sizes

cornflakegirl · 03/10/2006 13:59

forgot to say - the Royce bra is definitely better than no bra! but my boobs are at least an inch lower than with proper underwired support.

thanks xx

The biggest and best selection of maternity/nursing bras anywhere in the world can be found at the following fantastic US website: www.birthandbabyorders.com they are full of advice as to how different bras actually fit, and will deliver anywhere in the world very quickly.
I live in Zambia where there is no such thing as a regular bra bigger than a D cup (I was a 36E pre-pg, now b/f my 4mo DS and a 38G), let alone any nursing bras....
Cannot recommend these fab US ladies highly enough! (and believe me, I've tried EVERYWHERE)

Anna Cecilia does an amazing support zip nursing bra. www.annacecilia.com/ The support is fantastic and the material is very nice too.

M&S do a good one. Have a look on ebay too!The mothercare ones are pants.

I know this sounds odd, but I've noticed that you can buy underwired nursing bras for smaller sizes but not for larger ones... I know you're not supposed to wear wires etc etc but my huge norks are so baggy in these bras I get quite down about their general yukkiness... I've got the Royce ones fitted in Bravissimo, but even then they look, well, shit.

TiggernPooh2 · 15/10/2006 21:36

I was a 36G for a few months when first feeding and wish I had known about this site then as I used mothercare ones which were rubbish as someone has said.

I asked the nct bfing helpline if I could wear underwired but they said is I had been feeding ds for 10 months as long as i got a well fitting one it would be ok but can cause mastitus (sp?)if used early on or a poorly fitting one. FYI

Loshad · 15/10/2006 21:43

I used nct ones - the comfort, which was literally that comfortable and supportive -i've have (uhum) a larger bosom.

Re underwires and big boobs... the US site I mentioned in a previous post (I promise I don't work for them!) has a whole section of underwired bras and ones (u-wired and not) for those of us who are seriously well-endowed. For what it's worth, I'm now wearing nothing but Anita underwired bras in 38F - it's a joy to finally have some support back after nearly a year!! (my ds is 4mo)
will try posting the link again - I'm new to this so not sure if it works here it is...
