How to deal with a biter?

DS is 4 months old and has recently cut 2 bottom teeth, They're like mini spikes from hell! It was ok for the first week or so but now he's started biting my nipple, he even drew blood last night.
It's made me really nervous to feed him now. I don't want to give up cos we were doing so well but I don't know how to get past it cos it's not as if he's old to tell him no.

Any tips on how to cope with a biter?

A shriek and delatch for a minute. That's what I did. Now if dd looks like she's going to bite I say no sternly. Stops her before she does but she's 10 months now.

Put your finger in and detach them immediately every time they bite. You can scream or say a firm "No" as well. They do learn surprisingly quickly that biting=no milk.

It turned out that DS only really bit me when he'd filled himself up and was just playing for want of a better word.
So I would delatch too, leave it a minute. 9 times out of 10 he'd had enough, but would let me know if he hadn't!
It really was just a phase though it will pass, but you've just reminded me of sitting here all tense up just waiting for the nip eek!
