How to freeze breast milk?

I have been expressing and now have a few bottles in the fridge so I'm starting to think I could freeze some.
What should I put the milk in to freeze it? What kind of container? What do you use?
Thanks!

we used these www.amazon.co.uk/Lansinoh-Breastmilk-Storage-Bags-Pieces/dp/B0037XQT7A
decanted from bottle - someone had given them to me and were handy size for when i needed them

Yep, I used bags too, from boots I think.

I use those bags too. I would suggest freezing fairly small quantities separately so you can just defrost what you need and avoid waste. Small amounts also thaw quickly. I have also found the bags very useful for freezing small amounts of leftover wine, lemon juice etc to use in cooking!

You can either use the specific breastfeeding bags as people have said or reusable breast milk pots (you can usually buy ones the same brand as your pump so they fit straight on). The pots are easier if you are using the milk regularly as less fiddly and resusable, but bags are better if you want to build up a 'stash' e.g. For going back to work. Recommend you label with date and quantity. I would go for the cheap boots own brand bags as you probably won't use them more than once.

I used ice cube trays, in a pinch. Bags otherwise.

I bought avent storage pots on Amazon. They'll come in handy too for solids down the line.
