My boobs are killing, hand expressing not doing much.

Why won't he feed? I suspected he had a bit of a temperature last night and he's been clingy and irritable but no other symptoms.

He's "asked" for milk but can't seem to latch on??? Only had 2 feeds today both early on :(

We came back home yesterday. Spoke to GP on phone - GP thinks he's got hand foot and mouth. there are sores in his mouth.

/he's still not feeding :( wont even take a bottle

I've got my pump now i'm home but its only a hand one. its not really cutting it, its only any good for occasional use. think my supply dropping and need to keep it up....

i think i need an electric one. any ideas where i can hire one in an emergency? could do with one today really.

also how am i supposed to get him to drink milk?

he's had some solids and water but not much. just no milk. cries every time i try.

Sorry Red, it must be really stressful. I'm not sure about where to get an electric pump, maybe from La Leche League? I have an electric one which is meant to be good (Ameda Lactaline) but I have more luck with my manual pump. Will he take expressed milk from a cup?
